
![]() TRI Releases Critical Analysis of California Proposition 5 TRI in October 2008 released its critical analysis of Proposition 5 in California. The TRI analysis was not intended to either explicitly support the proposed measure or to explicitly oppose the measure but rather had as its core goal the identification of critical points and their implications for the State in order to facilitate public discussion. Boehm and Schlottmann Housing Studies Published
Following a long tradition of housing analysis by TRI Scholars, three lengthy studies by Thomas Boehm and Alan Schlottmann dealing with homeownership experience of low-income and minority households appear in the latest issue of Cityscape: A Journal of Policy Research and Development (Volume 10, No. 2, 2008). These studies deal with the role of manufactured housing as a source of affordable housing and implied neighborhood characteristics, housing tenure and expenditures across demographic groups, and the implicit wealth accumulation and the lack thereof of low income households.
