In addition to his current position, Prof. Goss is a former faculty research fellow at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and visiting scholar at the Congressional Budget Office. He is the past president of the Omaha Association of Business Economics, and President of the Nebraska Purchasing Management Association.

He has published extensively on economic forecasting and the statistical analysis of business and economic data. His research paper on the Internet contribution to U.S. productivity growth received the National Association of Business Economics Edmund A. Mennis Award in 2001. His latest book is titled Changing Attitudes toward Economic Reform during the Yeltsin Era.

As editor of Economic Trends, Prof. Goss produces a monthly business conditions index for the nine state Mid-American region and the three state Mountain region. Survey results are cited each month in approximately 100 newspapers including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily, and New York Times.Back
