Prof. Devereux has consistently posed interesting questions of economic growth and development and economic history throughout his distinguished academic career. His work has addressed related policy issues in such areas as Public Choice, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, Journal of Economic History and Journal of International Money and Finance. His original ideas have stimulated others to pursue research in these areas.

He serves as a reviewer for a wide range of the most respected academic journals in economic growth and development and international development. Joining Queens College and the Graduate Centre from the University of Miami, Prof. Devereux has mentored numerous doctoral dissertations and received teaching awards as well. Back
